Real is better than perfect. Neal knows this because he was born into a fractured home on one coast (Florida), and raised in a broken home on the other coast (California). Now he is celebrating the rest of a life lavished in the grace of Jesus. 40 years of marriage to Judy, 6 kids (counting spouses), and 10 grandkids later, life is just good. Neal graduated from Nebraska-Kearney, where he played basketball for the Lopers. His graduate degree was earned at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. After shepherding 4 churches for 28 years, he now lives and works to make disciples who make disciples, because what matters most is people finding Jesus. Neal and Judy have teamed on seven books through the ministries of Simple Living, Inc.
As Western District Superintendent, Neal and Judy long to be the safest set of ears a pastor and his wife could ever need, and to keep our collective focus on engaging every believer-priest in respectful and loving relationships with the yet-to-believers in their lives.
Pastor Andrew Hoffman and his wife, Jodie, live in Albany, CA (near Berkeley) with their four kids. His chief ministry desire is to help people find and follow Christ. Andrew received his M.Div. at Trinity International University and also completed an M.A. in New Testament at Trinity. He holds degrees in literature and music from U.C. Santa Barbara. Andrew is founding and Sr. Pastor of Solano Community Church and works with the Western District part-time as the Multiplication Catalyst, helping churches multiply through disciple making and church planting. Andrew is a member of The Creo Collective, a team of planters across the US committed to the multiplication of church planting networks. He is also an active member of the Bay Area Gospel Coalition. When not engaged in the above, you'll probably find Andrew with family, friends, on the bike or behind a good book.
